White smoke coming from driver side of engine?
White smoke coming from driver side of engine? So I was driving my car today and as I came to a stop a bunch of white smoke came up from my driver side fender and through my vent on my dash.... 
i popped my hood and it looks like its coming from somewhere around the header/spark plugs....it smells kinda fruity or sweet or something like that, my friend brandon said that its probably coolant, any idea what is wrong?
Whats weird is that the white smoke comes out when I hit my brakes really hard.....my brakes feel fine and sound fine
ALSO, my e-break light is staying on

problems You need to take the car to a shop and have the cooling system pressure tested. Is you antifreeze in the radiator low? Is your brake fluid low? Maybe you just have a coolant leak and it splashs on the exhaust when you hit the brakes hard.

Verdad Gallardo i have been driving pretty normal, nothing crazy, no racing. just my daily routines: the gym, school, work, etc. the smoke seems to be coming from between the master cylinder and the header...and it comes out noticeably when i hit the brakes.
if it was a head gasket would it have anything to do with me hitting the brakes? that doesnt seem right.....

ok so we figured it out and it was the EGR rubbing against the brake line going from the reservoir to the abs module.......good thing we caught it when we did cause it was getting rid of my brake fluid quick.
we got a new line and installed it and relocated it away from the egr tube
