Does a resleeved LS2 (427) with LS7 heads/intake count? There will be some impressive results before July is out in a 2800lb RX-7 with this combo on 91 octane

I'll preguess that the rather mellow cam yielding great driveability this setup does 140mph n/a.

(not mine.. yet)

I'd like to know how he ran a low 10 at only 135mph? Was he letting off?

With an automatic you need 137mph to run a 9.99 and killer 60' time.

I assume this is still a 6 speed? You will need to run low 140's for a high 9 second time.

Any video of the run?

I have a vid of the first 60' its from my camera phone though, not the greatest quality. it sixties 1.44 on street tires, and yes it only runs 134.75. and he doesnt let off... Turbo 400. Weighs 3500 with driver atm, will be lighter within the next few weeks, it will be in the 9's next time at the track, we are putting stiff sidewall slicks, we had them on for one pass saturday and they rubbed on the top end, but it wheelied past the 60ft(1.42) mark with ease. Jason, ill pm you some pics/specs in about an hour.

Every combo is different, weight, final gearing etc. I know of a auto car that runs 10.10's at only 131.

This was the worst pass of the day on sunday, it was a 10.27 at 134, only a 1.54 60', spun because they had him sit there for the car ahead of them to get off the track. Normally wheelies like a ft higher

I didn't realize it was a TH400. That explains the mph difference. You will still need a 136mph approx to run a 9.99. You are almost there.

Is this a true LS7 with dry sump oiling/LS7 block or a resleeved block (4.125" bore) with LS7 heads/intake?
