I have never done business with these guys but think about it, GM builds motors very inexpensively and looser than those guys probably do. I would call them and talk to them just to get a feel. They have a 12month/12k mile warranty and that is more or just as much as alot of the more expensive builders. I would be asking questions like "If something does go wrong who makes good on the warranty" or "How do I get the engine too you"
Hell Id even ask em how they can sell the motor that cheaply

No I did not do well in english I hated English Oh Well I have recived the motor and it came with allot of extras even at that low of a price! I will post some pictures of the Motor later.

An (Nice Try): Yes you will more than Likely pass right by me. I do not have it set up with anything big cam wise or other things that make big HP.
I just have fun with My Vett.

I ask the entire questions that you thought of and a few more. They shipped the motor to my door on Centrail Frieght Lines, it was created and it looked great. The test will come when I fire it up. But I am very slow but sure in reinstalling it. So I will post some pictures and post some Numbers after I get it tuned and we can see what it will do.

Make sure you plug that oil line on the side of the block near your pulley. It doesn't look plugged to me.

It is plugged now. I have gone through the entire block and check it for anything that looks out of place. Thanks though for the heads up.
As for the farm it will be replaced.
As for the engine it was to come with out the oil pan and crank pulley and a few other things and Steve put them on and just let me send him my parts so the motor would not be so open. So now I have a care package ready to send to him with all the extra part that he put on the motor.
It also came with a cam card, witch I picked the cam231/237 589/595 on 112 lsa W+2, yes I know it is not that big!
Well should have it in the car this week if everything goes right.
More pictures to come!

I was only pointing this out because blkvett01 was trying to pass himself off as intelligent by stating he was an engineer with an MBA in a post full of grammatical and spelling errors. He may very well be highly educated and intelligent. My post was somewhat tongue-in-cheek but that obviously was not obvious. My appologies to all those offended.

By the way, blkvett01, how long did it take from winning the auction to delivery of your motor?

Dr. Chill
Well "pass himself off as intelligent by stating he was an engineer with an MBA " Guess i shoul have left that out! Ouch! Too your question on when i ordered the motor. June till August, It was a simple build and i knew what I wanted and let Steve do his thing. I know why you ask but we will keep this in the bag! By the way I was not offended!
But Too the Doctor .

The motor is installed! Took the better part of the AM Doing This by ones self: Just take two Aspirin and call me in the Am. Because you will need them.

Steve should ship my motor out this week as it is almost done. I just wasn't prepared to wait 2 months for it as my only car is out of commission and I'm tired of driving a rental pos. Anyway, my cam is a little larger and I'm using Dart heads milled to 60cc.

How long did it take once your motor shipped out for it to arrive?

Keep us posted on your progress.

It took two day to get to Texas but it came on a weekend. But everything went well with Centrail Frieght Lines. I went with the cam I picked because it is tryed and tested and it is easy on the springs. I use the vett as my DD and went with the things I knew that worked for me.
I did think of going bigger on the cam but kept my wants in line with my needs of the car. I have a set of AFR heads that I will put on later Going to run the stage II 317 for a while. I have done the heads on this car so many time that I can change them out in a day.
Good luck with your new Motor. I know it will be Great!

More updates to come!

Ok it was drive train day. Now doing this by ones self takes allot of work and three jacks. You have to level the trans tork tube, and motor. Then you go under the car out form under the out from under the car well by your self you get the idea! Then you use one big c clamp and it is there. That is just one tenth of the rest of the install lol

Oh well it is in!

Today no pictures, just details installing shocks other items like that.
Waiting on a new starter! the old one just did not look good enough to go back in the car! Had to finish up a few detail cleaning and painting, not sure why but the under side has to look good too!

Well starter will be here tomorrow and should be real close to starting her up!
Not sure why I call my car a her? Might be because I love it and it is a pain in the a---s and cost me allot of money!
