I don't think he is a sponsor, but I wanted you guys to see my new TB.
The throttle seems much more crisp now.... I'll post the dyno results as soon as I can.....

We use Mark all the time, especially since he is just a few miles away. We have had him do a set of heads too that were great.

He's not a sponsor due to his constant business regardless.

Just search shaner performance or S2 performance and you'll find him.

Great guy.

There are a large number of guys doing ported TBs..no big difference any of them..hell you can do it yourself it you feel like it..takes about a hour or so.. Ron at GMMG (cammin beast) now working for Vengeance Racing and Development did mine..he is as good as anyone in the country... it is not rocket science by any streach of the imigination..took him about 45 minutes while I waited for it..

I am with Forteen above. If you do not know what you are doing as DIY you can create a monster that nobody can tune.

After watching it being done I could knock one out in an hour or so..it is not hard unless you make it that way..there is a ton of info with photos and descriptions on how to do it..with the pitfalls dulley noted.. plus I watched one being done...the name of the game is chop, cut, rebuild..also known as HOT RODDING..if I had it to do over again I'd have done myself...don't be skeeered that sky isn't falling....

There are a zillion places that can do powder coating, polishing, or chrome plating locally near metropolitan areas.

I disagree. I've tried Bret Bauer and had to send it back 6 TIMES with nothing but problems, still didn't work. Jantzer makes nice looking junk, and I have seen the work of other's.

Mark Shaner is the only one I trust on every car I build. Pristine work, no fancy exterior, and zero problems ever.

Note: There ARE differences guys.

My experiences have been just the opposite of yours sir..I suggest you contact Ron he used to be with GMMG for years and now has his own shop..Vengeance Racing & Development..he does great work and you won't have to send it back..he has done hundreds of them..no complaints from anyone.. no fancy exterior just quality porting and polishing on the interior of the TB..
