Uh... they make heads? j/k

So far I've been pleasantly pleased with the Patriot 2031's

That 2031 is the stage 2 LS6 head with a 2.05 intake and 1.57 exhaust (they also have a stage 2 with a 2.02 intake an 1.57 exhaust).

I went with the larger intake valve to off set for the 6 degree's of difference in my Lunati Voodoo LS1 cam (222 intake and 228 exhaust).

I'm still awaiting the headers, they're on backorder at edelbrock and should ship within the next week or two. Once the headers get in I'ld do a final install and get the manifold and tb ported then a final tune with hp tuners and do a couple of dyno pulls.

But thats probably 2 to 3 weeks away....

Patience, I've got no f'n patience... not anymore anyway

We use a lot of Patriot LQ9 heads on our forced induction engines, and have not had any problems with them. They make good power, and for the money it is hard to beat them. Bob

We have sold lot of Patriot heads and have always had good results with them, I have a set of LS6 styles on my current shop car; it is making 454rwhp/417rwtq with a 232/240 .579/.579 110LSA cam, LS6 intake, Dynatech race headers(open) through a 12bolt and 4.33 gears. No track times yet.

Patriot is supposed to have their own casting out soon--"Predator." I haven't heard anything about them in a while.

I think the general concensus on patriot performance is they have good heads (GREAT for the money spent) and EXCELLENT customer service.

Personal experience with them was great in getting a set of valve seals. When I have the money and need for some heads they will be the ones I'll contact.

I just bought some used, and Gunnar was great helping me out with information. So far their customer service has been great, they even went so far as to inspect my heads and get all the specs for free.

yeah, I spoke with Gunner today. I have decided to go with there heads. He has been very helpfull so far and look forward to getting the heads on my car. I have LS1 edit, but dont have autotap. That is the next thing that I will be looking to get. Then I will try to tune my car myself. Not sur how I am going to lean or what to look for with autotap. Hoping that I can learn somewhere on here. It willbe also interesting to see how how these heads will dyno in comparrison to my old Cartek heads.Little bit nervous about tunning my car.

Thanks

Great company to work with. We just got on board with selling their products and Gunnar has been awesome so far. I sent him a cylinder to get repaired due to detonation and they didnt charge me anything (not even shipping) to fix it..

You aren't allowed to sell stuff until you've been here for 6 months or have 50 posts.

We have a 402 with stage 3's. N/A #'s are 513 RWHP & 495 RWTQ. Track times with a 60HP shot of spray is 10.35 @ 129MPH. Race weight is 3780lbs. 1.40 60 ft. Can't beat the price, and Gunnar is a great guy to deal with.
