Default LS2 402 cam choices?

I’m having a 402 built. It’s going to be a street & track car. What cam recommendations do you guys have? I don’t mind loppey, I have a pretty good size cam in my 346 setup. Also what kind of power are you making with your 402 or 408 setups?

I went with this cam: 239/248 .649/.615 110LSA +1 with LSK/XER lobes

Being finished now, hopefully running in 3 weeks.

i love my esp custom grind, they can help spec a cam for your setup!

Callies Compstar Connecting Rods
Diamond Forged 4.005" Pistons

GM Cam Bearings
AFR 225cc TTP Stage 4R Port/Polish

Stock Rockers TTP Pushrods
I've read the LS2 blocks don't hold up well with a big shot of N2O. Aren't you worried about your setup?

im running a similar set up.
eagle crank, lunati pro mod rods, custom coated dimond pistons,
out of the box afr 225's
comp lifters, comp push rods, stock rockers, fed mog bearings, bla bla bla.

as for the big shots, you heard it, but who has accually tested it?

im hitting mine with 300-350, plan on going to 400-450, so until some one proves it, im the test dumbie. lol
do you know anyone who has accually had an issue that was do to the block?

Damn, I was thinking of going with this cam, 236 236 .585 .585 112 and MTI stage 2R heads. What do you guys think? I want good driveability. I think this may be a little to conseritive though.

The 236/236 sized cam will probbaly drive like a mild cammed 346.. just with alot more power, it will be very tame I'd think with that cam, and have great low end. Maybe bump the lift up with that duration some... give ESP a call, they've done a few of these motors and are doing a few more,should be able to set you up with something that will work for your goals.
