cam help
cam help well, ill admit im new to cams. ive read info on them, and what the different numbers mean, but i dont know how to choose one for my car. i have an 05 GTO with an LS2 and so far my mods are:
Fast 90 manifold, jba shortie headers, jba catless mid pipes, volant intake, 3200 stall converter, and 3.91 gears.
my future plans are probably a 100 shot of nitrous.
i was looking around on lingenfelters site and saw some of their grinds and some of the comps they sell, but i dont know what would be good for my application.
what else should be replaced with the cam? springs and rods only?
also, if i measure rod length and have to order new rods, would it hurt to use my stockers till the new ones came in? i wouldnt be able to go without a car for however long it would take for them to get here.

also, i dont mind if its not the stock idle, but i dont want something really aggressive either. im not looking for max power out of the cam, im just wanting some extra N/A power before the nitrous
I'd give MTI a call, they seem to turn out a lot of N2O cars. As far as what you will need, you can buy kits that have Springs, Push Rods, Retainers, Seats, & Seals. that should about do it.
