Default Any new info about the 1000 hp Procharged LS7?

I wrote on this earlier and someone posted a link about a brand new LS7 Z06 being used for R&D having a blown motor shortly after a Procharger was installed at their facility. Apparently, the boost was set at 6 psi with an intercooler and the motor blew before getting on the dyno. However, it is interesting that 6 psi blew the motor because 6 psi was used without any problems with the LS2; both with near identical compression.

His new Z06 is now making 1000 horse on another link with an F1-SC intercooled unit; if memory serves the boost was 15 to 18 psi. From what I understand this vehicle is still at Procharger's test facility. His LS7 was rebuilt for boost with after market lower comp pistons and stronger connecting rods.

Perhaps more importantly to most new Z06 owners, I was wondering what their base set up will entail (5 psi only? F1-SC or D1-SC?) with a bone stock LS7 and what numbers they anticipate on making.

I would anticipate alot of unhappy corvette owners with blown up motors.

While these two motors are different in a myraid of ways other than compression, it seems reasonable that 5 psi could be reliable and make close to 200 rear wheel horse power. My thoughts..props to Procharger if they do come out with a base kit for the LS7 Z06.

There are roughtly 9823498234 variables in a forced induction set-up. Boost is 1. I'm not sure the point of this thread.

Just curious about the LS7 potentials and what Procharger will definitively offer for a base set up. My apologies for any ambiguity.
