I'm sure they will. The valves are designed for lash caps, so the tips stick up more than usual.

Ah, I didnt notice that the tip is longer than usual. Makes sense. I'll continue to look into springs tonight. PRC's might be the ticket.

Ferocity, do you allready have the heads? I have 2 sets of brand new LS7 takeoff heads here, you don't got to mess with getting all the parts..

Mike, I would be worried about adding weight to the valvetrain with the double springs. Like I was telling you before with the PSI springs, they have been proven VERY effective on the optron with XE-R lobes.

Can someone measure the weight difference between the LS7 intake valve, and a 2.08 LS1 steel valve? Maybe i'm just worried over nothing, so I'd like to see what sort of weight difference there really is.

Dave, can you get the numbers off of the top of the retainers that I have and PM me?

Thanks,
Adrian

I'm sure the LS7 intake valve weighs less than the LS1 intake valves, same with the exhaust valves. I don't think weight is an issue here. Max lift is more of an issue.

I just test fitted a Patriot Gold dual spring on the head with the Ti intake valve and it seems to be okay. The lash cap fits well on top. Unfortunately I already sold the springs. I'll get some PRC's and get the extra .01" of max lift.
