LS2 or 7 for offroad

LS2 or 7 for offroad I was thinking of a budget around 12000.--18000.-$ plus Motec ECU/ labour for Dynotuning for a new LS enigne in my offroader racer. But for which one should I opt? Guess it will be more on the LS2 side..and what parts on it?

what transaxle/transmission are you running? Is this in a truck or a sandrail?
There are some custom transaxles that cost more than $15K easy.
No need for FAST/BS3/Motec unless you are going forced induction. Total overkill. But a twin turbo 402 would be one hell of a ride.....
LS2 block
forged crank/rods/pistons
AFR 225's
stock LS6 intake manifold, ported stock TB
stock 5.3/6.0 exhaust manifolds for headers
some small turbos that spool fast
and you have the recipe for a reliable 800rwhp+ if you can keep it cool.

unless ur going more than 60lbs high imp injectors or over 8000 rpm.. u wont need an aftermarket ECU.. just get a stock one with HPT 2 Bar Map Sensor.
i would recommend a forged ls2 402 with supercharger, fast 90/90, nice split duration, wide LSA camshaft.
