what do you have to do for a throttle body then? and the other sensors on the intake? do you have a link to the intake? everybody has been asking about a L92 intake, and nobody has a fuel injected answer yet

There is a post in this section about GM releasing a L92 and LS7 "carb style" intakes. They are compatible with EFI, they have a bung already for injectors and the map sensor. As far as the throttlebody, if you search around, there are options for EFI carb throttlebodies 4150 flange.... Infact, I have one right now that has IAC valve, but needs a TPS. Its a holley carb'd EFI throttlebody. It'll bolt right up to one of those intakes

yup, the conversion is quite simple. I've written a thread or two on it and results.

I, like many other would never want to convert to a carb style intake, FI or not. Not many want to hack out the cowl, which is common with these types of intakes. For the poster, just contact GMPP about there kit for the passenger car intake for L92 heads. They have a complete kit that will be avalible soon.

This is true, GMPP is going to be releasing a whole intake setup for the L92 heads. It'll come with intake, fuel rail, injectors, gaskets and a TB i believe for around 500 bucks the last I heard. There is a post in this section as well about it floating around...should be interesting read for ya.

Best Regards,
Adrian

seach feature sucks, brings up 789 posts about random junk. i have seached, and i have looked through at least 50 threads about LS7 and L92 heads/blocks/intakes.

i think that if i get my short block all ready, and maybe buy heads, by the time im ready to put the motor in they will have the intake out.

ive noticed that it is a "throttle by wire" set up, this intake is most likely going to be used for swaps, so why would they do that?

Thats a very good point, I always wondered that my self. I suppose its because not having to deal with a throttle cable makes life easier, and they already have production of the throttle by wire throttlebodies. They probably did it simply for production sake.

I'm sure the L92 car intake combo will be out in a next couple weeks from what I've read.

What time frame are you looking at for your build?

Best,
Adrian

P.S. Whats up with your sig?
