ok, i was told that i can use LS7 heads on the 6.0 LQ4 becuase it has a 4.000 inch bore. is that correct?

i looked around the sponsors and didnt really see where anybody had a head/intake package. i remeber one sponsor had them together for about 1500.. any help?

The question was about LS7 heads..ET is an aftermarket head not a GM LS7 head..the GM LS7 head is not compatable with the 4.0 bore..

You're also looking at 2500-3K depending on which head you get, i.e. GM or ET Perf. Not 1500.

thought the L92 heads were the same heads as the LS7, just not cnc ported. the L92 has a 4.06 bore. LQ4 has a 4.00 inch bore. are you telling me that the .06 makes the diffrence that the heads cant be used on it?

LS7 heads and L92 heads are not the same thing. There is tons of info in regards to what you're asking already posted.

Use the search option,

L92 LS7
15 deg 12 deg
2.16 intake valve 2.2 intake valve
4.06 bore 4.125? bore

intake rockers are different as well due to intake valve spacing
L92 head also has a larger chamber, so just a tad less compression.

there is a TON of stuff in a search, but i agree with you, some exact answers to your questions are hard to find.

The L92 heads should provide a great bang for the buck option. $375ea assembled. The intake rockers are less than $8ea as well. A good set of springs and push rods you're playing ball.

the current issue i have with L92 heads is that you cant use LS1/2/4/6/7 intakes... have to use an L92 intake, and im sure that it dosent breath well up top. wish i could fit an LS7 intake on it.

GMPP has just released a carb style intake for the LS7 heads and the L92 heads, so you shouldn't have any problems with breath upstairs

I don't get what you're saying here...if you want to stay FI, then whats the problem? This is the perfect intake for forced induction...

If you're talking about Fuel Injected, which would be "EFI", then these intakes will still be your best bet for upper rpm flow, because they have fuel injector bungs that need a simple drilling to accomodate your favorite fuel injector.
