That's something that I'm noticing too. Do you foresee any fuel delivery problems?

You can't hardly touch any sheetmetal intake for <$3k. That one with all the CNC work I'm sure would EASILY double that figure.

Very nice work there for sure. I too questioned the placement of the injectors. Looks like they'd be firing right at the port roof which would be bad.

It's nice, but Jesus! It is just a intake right? Does it do anything special, like transform into Optimus Prime and own the world?

I agree.

What sets it apart from the manifolds in the $3,000.00 range? Is it all the CNC work? And is it custom CNC, not some mass produced program?

Yea, I believe it is it's own design, and with the CNC work, I can see were the price could come in, but unless you plan to win alot of car shows, I can't see it making any more powere than a $3k hogan/beck. Still a stellar piece though, can't argue with that.

Default intake manifold

Yeah, that does look awfully familliar, just like the one I built a couple weeks ago. Nope, not a CFE, but an ETP. That manifold is completely made from billet bar stock and completely cnc'd inside and out. Pricey, yes. A lot of work, yes. That is more of a 1 off deal. We can make more of them though. As far as what works better, We have lot of time into designing and building these blower manifolds. The injector on the bottom, that does work very well. It idles real well and the distribution on these manifolds is great. EGT's within 30 degrees at 2200hp all the way through the whole RPM range. There are actually two different manifolds in the pics. The first one, is a new one we made to fit underneath the stock cowl. The one with the lid on it is the manifold that went in the 6's on Hardcore's GTO. The GTO manifold has a rear facing throttle body. The other is a forward facing that fits under a stock hood. These were made to work with our C5R and canted valve heads. These will be avalible in a cast version around the time of the PRI show. Of course we will have 25 different versions of these too, including the LS7 and cathederal port heads.

The weld quality looks very nice! Wish I had a car with enough hood clearance to clear something like that.

The welds are world class.
The machining looks like modern art.
WoW...

Curious, do you have any shots of the plenum interior?

LMAO I know the feeling, we spent more than that over a 3.5 year time span, we went first class though...no skimping. When yours does run..you will enjoy it. It wont be broke all the time because you bought second rate parts.

BTW here is a pic of our manifold.

With you, do you have a list of whats left to buy? I keep making one all the time, it NEVER ends, I keep adding to it.
