Dyno.... numbers ??

WHO.... cares ?? I just dont understand the "keep up with Johnny Dyno Number" / "Asshat" mentality around here. I swear, most pouge's place the all mighty dyno number over everything else. And why ??

Tell ya what, we should take ole' Fellow's or O'Connell and put them into a stock C6 and then we'll put each and every one of you "Johnny Dyno Number Asshat's" into a C6 Zo6. Underpowered and heavier they will still pound your *** into mother earth without the grand dyno numbers you all put onto a pedestal.

Chassis > driver = nothing.

Driver > chassis = nothing, except he will most likely kick your *** with less power.

Driver and chassis = winning races.

BTW Jason. The world is a better place to be in with Katech around. Thanks for sharing the new chassis schwag..... some may like it and some may not. But that is the difference in the world we live in. Some are "form over function" and some "function over form"..... but at least from you cat's, we get both.
Thank you. I'm glad some folks see the light with the dyno marketing BS. It's a major pet peeve of mine.

I think it looks awesome. Not to mention it's functional and looks great. That's just an added bonus.

Sorry to go off topic, but have you ever dyno'd one of your engine packages (any hp #) on a chassis dyno? I'm just curious to know some real world drivetrain loss #'s, since everyone has their own theory on how much power the drivetrain takes up.

When I say show-prepped, I'm referring to our painting process on the valve covers.

Regular - Clean and powdercoat over the textured cast aluminum

Show - Sand smooth, fill any imperfections with body filler, sand again, paint with smoothing primer, sand again, paint with several coats.

Sure, we can have a raffle. We'll sell 5 tickets at $22,000 each.

No, when you drive a Z06 you dont really need any assistance in that area.
