im putting my 408 in my ss pretty quick here. i ran out of money for the turbo at the moment. ita


2002 6.0l 3rd gen block
callies magnum 4.0 crank
JE pistons
crower custom ground cam 237/245-587-592/ 114lsa
mahle rods
lingenfelter polished ls6 intake
CR is 8:8 :1

what should i expect on the dyno N/A right now?

since the compression is that low. wont i lose alota torque?

Honestly, not a whole lot. I would say a little over 400. Yes you will be waydown on torque. Should be a monster when you put the turbo on it though!!

yea thats what i was thinking. i thought i would of had the money for the turbo. but i ran out lol. so i have a turbo ready motor thats gonna be slower then **** for a while lol

Some times things work out this way so just have fun with it until u get you're money saved. But I'd say right at 400 wheel.

oh well. atleast i finally spurted for a motor. now i just have to wait for my turbo. i may throw bottle on it untill then. well c tho..

I think with that compression and size cam you will be around 450 maybe.

i sure hope so. my stock ls1 did 403WHP so im gonna sale it an hopefully have enough money to buy my turbo kit! an throw down some good numbers!
