Beware of the second chance offer, I almost got scammed last week for 800 bux. I lost an auction and later received an e-mail giving me a second chance. I worked out a deal with them and almost sent the money, but I had a bad feeling. The parts belonged to a member on here so I sent him a pm and sure enough he already sent his parts out. Just be carfeful guys.

Most second chance offers are from third party scammers.
Let us know how this works out--

Maybe a rip off or even if it isn't it sounds like the bidding was minipulated.
Screw the guy and nobody should take it. Make him relist it.

I do not feel the bidding was manipulated I was the top bidder, LG was the second highest, and another guy on here was the third highest. These bids are the ones that determined the price.

As far as the second chance offers go on ebay. The key there is to make sure they are showing up on the Ebay "my messages" part of thier website. If it don't you know there is something wrong. I was intouch with a guy who bid on a t56 that I sold on ebay. The guy was scammed by someone and he want to know when I was going to ship the trans. He was scammed for $800. For a while everytime I bid on something pricey I would get an email latter saying I had a second chance offer on the item and there was no evidence of this on ebays website, I always forward these to spoof@ebay.com, hopefully this was helping get the clowns that were doing this stuff caught or at least shut down.

Why was this guy listing this intake for such a short period of time? That doesn't make sense. I would imagine he would have listed it for long as possible to get the most interest in it?

The longest you can run an auction is 10 days.

The message I got from him did come through Ebay "My Messages". This is interesting to say the least.

He probably figured he'd get more for the 2nd one by 2nd chancing it to someone rather than listing a whole new 10 day auction.

$680 and $690 for the two intakes would be a pretty good haul.

Luckey bastards.

I have my entire L92 stroker sitting in its engine bay and it looks like it will fire initally on the stock truck intake. I guess I should be happy I have at least that. You guys are also lucky my budget didnt permit me to bid, would have drove it up more probably.

We wouldn't be buying E bay L76 intakes if GM would get off their butts and sell them direct.
