You're not gonna be able to spin it that high unless you have a dry sump setup at the minimum. Definitely have to be solid roller. Not really what you would want for your intended goals 99blancoSS

I would love to have a NA engine with no nitrous that can make 700 and rev to 8k. Sounds like a Nascar engine. GL guys

I'm shopping for a new setup. I'm guessing this is a solid roller? Any ideas on the power band?

It uses a modified production lifter.

FYI Tim Tosto spins his LS1 to 8100rpm through the traps with stock oil system. However for reliability I have heard the most you want to spin is about 7500 before the pickup starts getting starved for oil.

That is 320.7ci, not quite a 350.![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)

Thats what I've been thinking about doin. Take a 3.625" stock crank with a 4.19" bore sleeved/LS2 and get just shy of 400ci with long 6.2" rods you get an incredible rod ratio and at least from Dynosim you get some really good numbers.
