Yes, I wouldn't recommend the stage 3 for a street car.

I agree... it looks alot like the cam in my 427

It would be very interesting to see what sort of an increase there would be by swapping to LS7 heads and intake... I would guess 50HP... Jason, what do you think?

Swapping to the LS7 heads, intake, and our LS7 cam should be identical to our Street Attack LS7 at 608hp. A recent chassis dyno of a LS6 7.0L w/ LS7 top end, and LS7 Torquer camshaft confirmed that within 4hp of our Street Attack package.

You only get 12 more hp going with LS7 heads and LS7 intake over your Stage III with LS6 heads and LS6 intake????

Test 2: (C4-3481 - blue) Katech Stage III "Trac" cam
- 258/258 @ .050 .578/.578 lift, 110 LSA
- 594hp, 543 lb-ft of torque

What am I missing????

I'm talking between 2 streetable cams, the K.spec, and the Torquer LS7. The Trac cam is not a street cam.

Could you post a dyno comparison?

Any idea what the LS7 Torque cam would produce if the top half was an unported L92 with L76 manifold setup (on that 427 of course)?

Would you be willing to divulge the ramp rates of the cams? Comp XE-ish, XE-R-ish?

I dont think Jason and Katech will give all their secrets out.

It seems to me that Katech has been very successful high engine outputs with relatively conservative numbers.

Your numbers are strong. What are the specs on the LS7 cam and have you tested it in this set up?

Not in a Value 427 yet. Only tested in an LS7.
