Carefully check your valve train geometry. I saw a recent case where AFR had a customer who set up his valve train incorrectly. His pushrods were to long resulting in only half or 1/3 of the valve stem working against the rocker arm pad. Most of the contact was on the outer edge of the valve stem. This caused excessive pressure and wear in one spot. It quickly wore through the hardened surface of the SS valve stem. After you penetrate the hardened surface a valve wears very quickly.

Ah, there's the answer in the post above. I was wondering how a Ti valve can be hardened.

yes, and you can order custom thickness ones from vacmotorsports...ask for chris. i recommend using custom ones to get your valvetrain geometry dead nuts on

Yes Haland Sharps mod works for the LS7 rockers as well we have done a few sets already.
