ls2 rod bolts vs ls6 ones

Default ls2 rod bolts vs ls6 ones

are the rod bolts any difference in strenght between the 2?

i am getting a new longblock in the for an ls2 for my V and i am thinking i shoul maybe but these in as added insurance.

I did some checking with GM. The 05 LS2 rod bolts are the same as the LS1/LS6 but in 06 they change part numbers. I am sure they are probably the same strength. The part # change may be due to a change in supplier of the bolts.
