would a sheet metal manifold that was actually built for C5R heads not perform any better than a single plane that was built for LS7s?

We have a wilson 1400 cfm TB on top of a Vic jr LS1 style intake, Matt do you think that manifold may be choking the motor at all? Are there any alternatives for the standard LS style heads?

It might but they only allow cast manifolds in the class I plan to run in next year.

I actually don't think it is. I used a one off cast manifold with huge runners and it didn't pick up the car at all. The only one I haven't tried was the GM one but I dought there would be any difference.

Did you run with the Vic jr as cast or were the runners worked at all? We are running one as cast, and it turns to 7700, but the runner size on that intake looks small to besupporting the power its making but it is makin some serious power right now

gidday mat .
wazza from down under . just letting you know the sb2.2 and the dodge p7 work a treat . have seen both done on c5r heads . the dodge manifold had better runner volume with a wilson 1400 cfm throttle body . thus more horsepower

hi matt .
how did you go with the p7 intake ? they work a treat down under and flow better than a sb2.2 manifold which = better torque and more horsepower .
