Default Got My Ls7 Carbed Intake Today

It looks promising so far to mate up with my C5R heads. I will be doing some mock up later and making sure. Intake walls are thin so porting it is going to be kept to a minimum. I will post some pics later if I can.

They look a little longer than the LS1 carbed intake but not much. Maybe an inch.

pics of intake on c5r heads. The lip on the c5r head would have to be machined off. Other than that the intake will need some major modifying but I think is the best start to have. I also mocked up an sb2.2 intake and had similar results.

Looks like the manifold ports are considerably larger than your C5R ports???? Still looks like a decent starting point.

Is the LS7 manifold taller than the LS1/6/2 version?

They are....... But as soon as we play with the heads they won't be.

I think it is taller, but not by a ton. I wish it was like an sb2.2 heigth wise.

Mill the intake not the heads to make it fit, works out better that way.

I have a set of C5R heads that have been waiting for this intake for a while now!

Personally except for the injector bosses I don't see it being as good as the SB2.2 intake. Not enough runner volume and the 4 inside runners are 3 inches and the 4 outside are like 6". GM needs to stop trying to make things fit under low hoods and make an all out performance manifold.

It's GMPP # 25524401 I think. I tried it a month or so ago and it came up on the gmpp website, but now it doesn't. Your best bet is SDPC.

You should be able to order it through SDPC ---------------->

I ordered it through the Cadillac dealer across the street from where I work. I got a good deal it was $335 plus tax. It took 4 days to get it. I am using a wilson 4 barrel throttle body on top. 1388cfm.

Looks like an awsome set up, apparently matt can not be satisfied with a 9 second all motor car, love to see a video of your first trip to the drag strip with this setup. What is your prejected ET and MPH with the new intake?
