Default What is missing???

Ok i got my ls2 longblock put I cannot figure out what sensor it is that goes in these 3 holes. if anyone had part #'s it would be great.



here is the 2nd one, crank sensor i am assuming? where can i steal the olde sensor off my ls6 block?





here is the 3rd one on top of valley tray

1st pic is the cam pos sensor. It will need the sensor, bracket and the harness. Also you should get the LS2 conversion kit either from Katech or Racetronix. LS1 TO LS2

2nd pic is the crank sensor. Use your ls6.

3rd is the oil pressure sender on the valley. I would take the valley off and make dam sure the DOD o rings are under it. You dont need low oil pressure problems.

Oh yea your LS1 knock sensors wont fit in the side of the block. You will have to drill the holes out and make them larger in order to retain the LS1 knock sensors.

you dont need to spend $100 + at kateck for a conversion kit.
all you need to do is get some 10 or 12 gauge wire and cut the cam
sensor so you can transfer it to the front were it belongs now.

and remember the last 2 wires in the cam sensor plug, need to be switch
arround.I recomend you to use wether pacs. if you need more help let me
know

i believe you can see the knock sensors already installed on the side of the block in pic 2???

also i alredy have the katech kit from sdpc


where is the crank sensor on the ls6??

does the ls6 use the same oil sender unit so i can reuse?

It's only $59.99 for the combination cam/knock sensor adapter harness. It comes with high temperature loom and plug-and-play connectors.

Werd! Its plug and play. A great product and I wouldnt want any splices on those important sensors.

Yes it works. Know for a 100% fact! Done 3 ls1 to ls2 conversions and one LS7

If you mean knock sensors I would not use the LS2 knock sensors on a LS1/6 application. I always use the LS1/6 knock sensors since this is the harness you are going to use. Just my .02
