Looking for driving opinions as I drive my car to the track & often sit in bumper to bumper turnpike traffic..
Car is an A4:
3:73's
Vig 3600
AFR 205's
CURRENTLY 224/228, but trying to deceide on FM113 or G5X3...
Driveability IS a factor, however car is 95% track car, 5% driven to & from the track..

If you're running stock AFR's, I believe they are 64cc heads. It will be a little soggy on the bottom. The F13 cam will work better at that compression especially on a 112. I run a 230-236 112 XE-R cam in DC bumper to bumper traffic with an SD tune and it's not too bad but most people would probably not like it. That's a lot smaller than the X3 cam which I considered.

I know its not what you asked but I would keep the current cam and get a better converter....
Try an yank PT4000 - 4400 and go faster in the 60 ft and pick up a couple mph up top too
I dont think its worth the time or investement to change the cam when a better converter would give you a better gain

Curious as to what you mean by a little soggy?
Tony Mamo said the FM 13 would work well with the heads too, but I'm not sure there will be that much of a difference going to a FM13 since I already am running a 224/228.
(The FM13 is 230/232).. I am on a LSA of 114 (A4)

Your car makes great power right now. Enough to get ya into the high 10`s with the right converter and good traction. So to me its not worth the money to change cams and then have to retune .
I defintly woudnt go with the vig 3600. I can only tell you from experience that a PT yank or atleast a 4000ss will pull harder uptop than the vig 3600.

I found out my heads were milled to 62 cc, but FYI I also have an aftermarket forged short block, with 2-3 cc valve reliefs.. I think a 232/234 @114 .595 .598 Comp cam may be something worth condiserating

The set up is going to be:
3:73's
Vig 3600
AFR 205's that are already installed & milled to 62cc
A&A forged short block that has notched Diamond flat top pistons 2-3 cc...
You name the cam choice..
