Default Flycutting needed to fit L92 heads on a stock shortblock LS2

Do the pistons on a stock LS2 need to be flycut to run the L92 heads?

It really depends on the cam.

Cool, any idea on pushrod sizes that will be needed. Also, where would compression end up with these on a stock shortblock? The chambers on the stock LS2 heads are 64cc, correct?

The L92 heads are 69.9cc. which will leave you with very low compression. Probably enough to negate any benefit using those heads. You will need to mill them to reduce the combustion chamber size.

Nah, the loss of compression is a bonus...I'll let the turbos move the air ;-)

Just for reference before I decided to go with a stroker I was going to just cam the stock L92. W2W found pretty much nothing over a stock z06 cam at most would work without new pistons or fly cutting them so even stock was pretty close I assume. That is when I decided to jsts replace it all instead of spending $ on R&R of the stock parts, ballance and fly cutting of the stock parts.
