nope your misconstrewing my comments together
8.2 was the best i could pull bone stock with a DA 2400. down to the F1 supercars non-run flat 295/35/18, bone stock car. everyone was running .3th off that day from what i was told. several guys i ride sportbikes with that run 5.90's were running 6.2-6.3's. that was the only trip the 1/8th i took in the car.
ill quote myself...
"my car has never been to a 1/4 mile track, even when it was stock. it saw 4 passes in the 1/8th mile 8.2@87 was my best time."

many builders are taking them 4.030", mine is 4.005" with a 4" crank. .005" over was to clean the walls up to make sure they were all perfectly round. leaving me some room in the future for a rebuild and going .025 more over for a 4.030" bore.
some are adding a 4.1" crank, 4.125" and even 4.25"
i thought you were talking a built 403ci car running 8.2's. no harm was intended. no,i'm not stock, still 346ci,but i have a stroker comming for this spring so i HOPE it will net me faster times. be cool bro. The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
