Bigger cam, better heads, and a ported fast 90 setup should do it.

Flow #'s aren't everything. Check out this month's GMHTP. Either the AFR's or the TRickflows are what you are looking for. ET's would work as well, but the wait is longer.

patroits may flow the same, but from what i've witnessed they DON'T perform the same. i've seen lots of head and camed combos at the track(patroits, speed incs, tsp's,ect) and i have kill them in performance. not to bash the patroit product,it's a good budjet head and it does perform great. i'm just way happy i went with the AFR 205 head,it was worth it. on a mustang dyno,346ci through a 12bolt w/4.11's i make 463hp 414tq and was 25hp more on a dynojet,no ele-waterpumps and everything hooked up when tuned.

if you've ever tried getting their panties off while in the car dropping them in the street would be a plus.

i've been the Procharger route with my 01zo6 what a pain in the ***, overheating, shredding belts. I know a lot of people have had success with ATI's and Vette's but i'm not one. i just don't think the Vettes are setup well for them IMHO.

As someone else said flow numbers arent the end all be all of performance, and many numbers are generated on different flow machines so its hard to get a direct comparison. Patriots are great heads for the money, but if your looking for max performance then you will need better heads, such as the AFR's, trickflow's, or ETP's. Another option would be to go with a bigger cam, such as the g5x3.

Also you should get a ported fast 90/90 combo as that should be good for 15+ rwhp on your current setup.

Sometimes it takes time to get it all right. I have been there myself.

I'm in the same boat as you are. I'm at 460rwhp with my set up which consists of TSP LS6 heads w/ 2.00/1.55 valves, MS3, Unported FAST 90, Unported LS2 TB, ASP pulley, LG street LTs, Vram, and Tune... I'm now trying to get 500, but i don't think im going to make it there. I'm doing an Aluminum flywheel to help free up some more power and I'm going to have my FAST and TB ported. I think in the end, I'll be at 480. With those 2.05 valves, I don't know how much of a larger cam you can go with w/o flycutting. I think with those valve and the G5X3 you may hit.

Tell the whole story...the ported ls6 heads did just as well as the overpriced afr heads with slightly more torque over a broader rpm range. What I took from that article was how little difference the heads made. All the other components make much more difference than heads alone.

ETP, AFR, or TrickFlow with a big cam. Another route is forced induction or nitrous.

start with a 90/90 set up and a more agressive tune if possible, and see what happens.
