LS7 head stud kit question.

LS7 head stud kit question. I have an LS7 short block I am assembling with my 6.0 heads. I thought I had gotten everything needed for assembly and found that the head stud kit is different. The ARP stud kit I had used with my previous LS6 block won't work. The threads for the studs aren't as far down into the block on the LS7. Is the LS2 like this too? Where can I get a stud kit for the LS7?

ARP LS7 Head studs What gripes me is that in ARP's catalog they stress the importance of engaging the maximum # of threads in the block for maximum strength (especially important in an aluminum block) and their LS1/2/6/7 equal length head studs engage only 14 of the 18 available threads in the block. They won't answer my emails about this.
