Question LS2/LS7 Lifters

Would these work in an LS1 as a replacement...would they be any better than the stock LS1 lifters?

theyre the same thing, u can get the super badass lifters sdpc has from the ctsv.r program....now those are nice

They claim 8,000 rpms, but do they really support that? I thought hydraulic lifter collapse after so many rpms.

i am running that lifter. pulls 7k no prob, but remember those cts-v r's have titanium valves

Seeing as the motors they were used in do spin to 8k RPM I would say they can. Weather or not a lifter collapses depends on how the rest of the valve train is set up.

Weve seen 8100 rpm hyd with a steel valve so far

Not with the GMPPs, just referring to the hydr at 8000 collapsing part
