They come as a 65cc head, but can be milled to increase compression.
Great deal here.
Good luck.

Jeremy is right. With our cleaning pass they will be approx. 64cc. We can mill them to your specs at no extra charge.

if it`s bolted on the engine can you see the 243 casting number on the front of the passenger side heads?or it`s plain with no casting number there?

can it be ordered with a casting number of 241 written on it or the older 853(I think it was that) number written where the stock 243 says 243? I really like the idea of a stock appearing from the front heads for fooling many people of what actually is there.

what`s your opening hours GMT that Grenitch time ? and what number to order from this offer that is not a 888 not a free number please?
(mention I saw your offer in ls1tech or just say saw your christmas offer on 243 stock valves heads?)

one more technical question ...
if I already have 241 heads with your double springs already installed can I order a bare 243 ported head and fix everything I have on my old heads on yours and I`m set!

sorry for the long thread and questions ^_^

These will have the 243 casting number on them. If you would like them removed, we can. We can not put a different casting number on these. We are open from 1:30 pm - 11:00 pm GMT. You can reach us at 256-413-3882, just ask for Gunnar and we will get you fixed up on a bare price.

This is a 243 casting which is found on the 01 and up Z06, the 05 and up GTO, on the 05 and up C6 and on a couple of caddy's. A very popular head for a LS1.

There will more then likely never be a CNC version of the L92 heads. They are already huge and from the looks of them there isn't a ton of room to remove material. I would guess that if your waiting for a set of ported L92's your gonna have to have a hand port done, at least for the near future.
I am guessing with a nice valve job and a little bowl work the L92 will be awsome.

This post makes me laugh. Trying to be sneaky but posting in a forum where thousands of people read.
If I were you I would just have the casting number ground off and noone could see the 243 number on the head. To put a 241 on it instead would be tricky, and not a easy job to do.

HeHeHe .... I`m not in the USA and nobody knows my car! and here if we find that the casting number is removed then there is a great possibility that these heads are (this is what many of as persume) Patriots! or ported heads from the USA...although a friend of mind has a 1999 C5 with heads that is stock never removed and I don`t know why there is no casting number on the passenger front head I don`t know if the changing the casting number can be done that`s what I`m asking and for.

I believe the 243 casting can also be applied to the tbss

I am in love with the horsepower the 6.0 and 243 heads and cam make. The tires are like butter I can spin them any time I want at 30 mph . That is fun. I love the new stuff. Thanks again Gunnar

I believe your correct.
Good old LS2 Trailblazer.
We tuned one the other day and I was impressed. Did almost 340 with a air intake and tune.

Yeah I read that thread.
Very impressive.
I have some flow number's coming out soon on my ported L92's. They flow great even up to 1 inch of lift. Not that that matter's, but they are awsome heads. Thanks GM for doing something right.

Now back to the subject. GO BUY SOME PATROIT HEADS.
Funny how this thread turned into more L92/76 stuff. Guess that's what happens in this forum.
