Default LS2/LS7 cam sprocket?

When looking at the front of the LS2/LS7 cam sprocket what is the correct orientation of the cam dowel, timing mark and timing lug? I have one from JP Performance and when the cam dowel is on the left (9 o'clock), the timing mark is on the top (12 o'clock) and the timing lug is on the bottom (about 3 through 9 o'clock). Is this correct? If it is then it looks to me like the correct position of the timing mark on the cam sprocket and the 0 on the crank sprocket are both at the 12 o'clock position when # 1 is at TDC which doesn't seem correct. Can somebody confirm this for me please?

Would someone please post a photo of their cam sprocket?

Crappy picture but I think you will get the point.

With the cam lined up with the crank the cam dot is at 6:00, dowel pin is about 3:00.

I just learned from the Com Cam tech guy that when you install a cam the cam sprocket timing mark should be at the 6 o'clock position and the crank timing mark is at the 12 o'clock position and at that position # 6 is at TDC of the compression stroke. When # 1 is at TDC of the compression stroke both timing marks are at the 12 o'clock position. At least I had endured only one sleepless night over this.
