I'm driving a 454 on the street and it runs just fine. And gets 17 MPG on the highway at 75 MPH with the A/C blowing cold air, but a little less than that on the side streets in stop and go traffic. I guess you cam it down further and still have 550RWHP, but as it sits it's over 600RWHP. Running a Meziere water pump with stock radiator and cooling isn't an issue.

I wouldnt build a 447
Rod ratios are wrong and the piston is too far down in the bore.

I like the 416CI up to 434CI for a street car...
