Deleting PCV system, knock sensors, & switch to SD tune?
This seems to be 3 topics that have come up frequently in this section. So I figured I'd ask myself. I will be building a drag motor, so it will be geared a little differently than a street motor/car.
Anyhow, I'm pretty sure that I'll be deleting my MAF and going with a SD tune. Any reason why I shouldn't do this on a drag car/motor?
On the knock sensors, this seems to be something as well that people are deleting. Would this be a good option for a drag car/motor?
Lastly, the PCV system seems to be a pain in the butt and what most people are doing is getting rid of it by capping everything off and running breathers. Good choice for a drag car/motor?
Also, will there be any conflict with doing any of these mods and running race gas? I've heard you give up the O2 sensors when you run race gas? Is this true? If so, then I won't be able to run a SD tune because one of the values that it requires is from the O2s correct?
