Default cam questions

I was wondering if I could get a recommendation for cam specs for a 402 with flat top pistons (2cc reliefs) and the new l76/l92 combo? I'm currently running a 244/244 .612/.612 112 but would like to go a bit bigger if possible. I know nobody can say 2xx is it, but just a good starting point is all I'm looking for. Thanks Chris

No one wants to talk about the custom cam's that are being produced for the L92 head design...

I'm speculating hear but I'ld say something in the area of a 10 to 14 increase on the exhaust lobes duration -vs- the intake's. and keep the 112 LSA that you currently have.

So taking your current cam design of 244/244 I'ld say change up to something between 244/254 to 244/258. Keep the max lift the same for both intake and exhaust (.612") and see what that gets you.

Nope it aint just that easy.... but depends on what you want to do with the motor and car.

A lot of this has to do with what condition you want to run the heads, ported or not. Plus the lobe profiles of the intake and exhaust have a lot to do with the split.
