LS2 Front End Impact Damage Hello Everyone:
I'm looking at buying an LS2/T56 package from a wrecked GTO. I've seen somewhere that when an LS2 (or any LSx engine for that matter) takes a front end shot on the damper, even lightly, that it can "take-out" the lower end of the engine. I'm wondering what needs to be done to check/rebuild the lower end when it takes a front end shot? What's a reasoanble price to have the lower end gone through to check it out?
