I'm building another L92 433 for an Arizona road race driver who likes the way my car runs. This one will have a pair of Richards L92 CNC'd heads. Can't wait to see how it performs.

Thanks for the update and great to hear that your 433 cid motor is holding up strong on the road race circuit and taking prisoners! How many miles would you say that this bad boy engine has on it now!

Question: The whole purpose of the 433 4.1 x 4.1 is to have big cubes for a low cost?
If the crank costs the same, how much are we saving here after buying a 4.06 block and paying to bore to 4.1. If a LS7 4.125 block is ready for pistons at under $2400, how much do you have in a block bored to 4.1.

I would call MATT or one of the other big LS parts guys at (Scoggin Dickey Performance Center (SDPC) as they always have competive pricing and probably can offer you a discount being a forum member, etc.

This engine (418) fell victim to oil starvation due to high side 'g' loading on the road coarse. It is what shifted me to dry sump oiling for road race engines. I still have the pistons which I am using on a .030 over 6L aluminum Gen IV truck block for a Bonneville 'C' motor (4.030 x 3.622 w/ 6.365 K1 rods, WCCH LS3 heads = 370 cid, waiting to be balanced). The skirts look like new and are right on spec...
