Default fitting Fuel rail, injectors, and TB for L92

I have a bare L92 intake. Planning to use on a stroker LS2 block.

I also have a set of billet fuel rails designed for LS1. Will these work? How does one mount aftermarket fuel rails?

What type of injectors/o-rings will work?

What TB- will a stock LS TB fit?

The L76 is for fuel injection and the L92 is for carbed. The L92 can be used for fuel injection (meaning it has the bosses there) but it is set up for a carb.

wrong l76 is the car manifold which is lower profile, l92 is the truck manifold

As far as what intake is what, it is all a matter of what they are usually called around here. The L76 intake everyone talks about is a car intake from Australia that fits the L92 heads. The truck intake is usually refered to as L92, and then there is a carbed intake from GMPP that also fits these heads. To add confusion to all of this, there is a truck L76 6.0L coming out that uses the heads off the L92 along with the truck intake.

Assuming you have the L76 car intake, you'll need the same stuff that an LS2 uses. You'll need fuel rails for an LS2, and injectors or o-rings for an LS2. There's a lot of ways to go with the fuel system. You'll need a 90mm TB for this intake, as well.

Check out this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iv-internal-engine/611948-step-closer-my-l76-intake-kit.html

The LS7 injectors that come with the kit mentioned in the thread are interchangeable with LS2 injectors.

So, the answer is yes, LS2 stuff works on the L76. I've been wanting to run this stuff on the LS2 in my GTO. I'm just waiting for the aftermarket to catch up to the L92 stuff.

SO, in summary, LS2 fuel rails will work.

Injectors with LS2 style O-rings will work. (Although most injectors are basically designed the same way- you just need a different O-ring at the intake side. You need to pick the flow rate and impedance)

What is the difference between LS2 fuel rails and LS1/LS6 rails? The reason I am asking is that I have a racing fuel rail designed for LS1.

LS1 style fuel rails actually work better with the older style injectors (pre LS2/7). The only problem is the crossover which bottoms out due to the center height of the LS/2/76/7 manifold..
You can cut the crossover and inset hose or use aftermarket rails, no problem.

The L76 truck and L92 truck intake should be one in the same just installed on different motors. Since the new VortecMax motor is the L76 and uses the L92 heads and intake on a aluminum 6.0L block with VVT.

The LS1 mounting tabs won't line up. You can cut and weld or use LS2 fuel rails - FAST Aeromotive, Speed Inc. etc.

Yup! Tried it. You can cut and reweld the mounts which is how mine is right now. An LS2 FAST/Aeromotive is in the mail right now for a permanent solution.

The rail I pictured fits fine with just a quick tweak of the mounting tabs. No cutting or welding needed.

Good luck getting it installed with the injectors in place.

Fits and ran fine for a few months on LS2 manifold with LS1 style injectors.
