Comp Lifters

Will Comp cams lifters (part #850-16) work with my 402 (LS2 block)? Comps web site only comments on use for LS1'S. I got a great deal on them and I want to know if I can use them in my new engine. Here is the link Click Me

Lifters for LS1 will work in a LS2, LS7, L92, LS4, LQ4, LQ6 etc.
They will need the plastic retainer cups to work property inside the motor.
I'm hoping you were offered a better price then the tweaked LS7 lifters that SDPC has up.

I run a fairly good size cam and I'm using the Cadillac Racing lifters with 921's on the L92 heads. My car makes almost no valve train noise. You might want to consider them.
