Default Compression Limits

I am curious as to what compression people are running on race gas motors..... i am planning a 15:1 motor on the bottle, dynamic being 9.15 if i remember correctly

I've heard of 15:1 motors. I personally built a Ford OHC pinto motor to rally race that had 14:1 and dual webers. On thing was that I always had problems to start it cold, so that I had to spray 87 octane down the venturis to make it go. I would normally run leded 114 though. Best thing about high compression is the throtle response.

9.15 on race gas should be ok.
