2004 6.0 I'm looking at a 2004 6.0 project. Out of a 2004 Silverado. $2000 for a complete engine. It has 16,000 miles
I want to have about the same torque and HP as a 2006 LS2.
I would prefer not changing the heads. I have BBK intake from a 2004 Corvette.
It will most likely go into a 80-82 Corvette. Needs to be very streetable.
15 inches of vacuum for power brakes. Stock computer.
I've got a 79 Camaro with an LS1 and a 98 Wrangler with a 4.8 so I am familar with the engines.
Would I better off just biting the bullet and buying a used LS2.

if i were you, and you wanted to be sneaky... throw some L92 heads on it (cheap) with the L92 (truck) intake and one of the stage 1 or 2 Z06 cams. I think HPE has those. You could probably get 450rwhp/420rwtq, easily.
