Default Ti Valve Weight L92?

David Jarvis of Jarvis Performance is going to cut them down to length, re-groove the ends for locks and cut the intake diameter down from 2.180" to 2.169". He does great work and is very reasonable on cost. You need to come up with the 2.180" intake valves yourself because He doesn’t carry that size, but they are easy to find all over eBay.

He advertises on eBay, Here...

I'm going to bronze bush the guides to fit the new stem sizes and go with a set of Patriot Extreme’s for springs.

Could you kindly post your valves weight when you receive them?

no word yet. Getting aftermarket valves for these heads seems to be an issue right now.

If anyone needs a set ASAP, I can sell mine for $320 shipped.
I will not need them for a few weeks anyways.
Didn't you pay $160? That would be double the amount!

I paid about $160 for the set, seems like a deal to me.
I feel more comfortable using as many "shelf stock" parts as possible so it is easier to find parts when stuff breaks.
My machine shop is slow enough as it is, so the less work I make for them the
quicker I can wrap up the engine build.
Just my 2 cents...
Good luck with your build !!!
This is what your missing.

My bad, I must have made a typo in that post.
I wish that I could get these for $10 each though!!!
I would never try to double my money on a fellow racer!
Jobber price is $20 each direct from Manley plus shipping.
With my discount it came to a little over $300 delivered.

Why do the ti exhaust need to be coated/inspected?
Are they known to have serious corrosion issues?
I've been thinking about getting some used nascar ti valves as well.
And am very curious about their weight, durability, and the cost of shortening them.
Is there no way to make the 2.18 fit? Do they have to be reduced (I think you said to 2.169)?

Re: using LS1/LS6 valves, they are about the right diameter, but the LS6 valves are 0.300" taller, and you can't cut them because they might explode!
