What's the max the L92 block can be bored?

Default What's the max the L92 block can be bored?

Doesn't it start out @ 4.030? Just wondering what the max it could be taken out to.

It starts at 4.06. How much you can bore it depends on your particular block . The machine shop can tell you.

Bore does start at 4.06". One shop has gone as far as 4.100 on the stock sleeve, but to me, that's pushing it. Espeacially with the uneven sleeves that have been seen in these blocks.

Texas speed punch's em out to 4.080" for there 418 stroker motors.
The 4.100 build was a specific race build if I'm not mistaken (think it's Shirl's).

I thought the stock bore was 4.065" though (need a 3.75" crank, need a 3.75" crank...)

We've built plenty of 4.080 bores without any issues.
