Yeah i've read up on thier stuff...but i'm either goin with Dart 225's unported or TFS CNC heads and possibly the Vengence stage 2 cam. I dont want to use a converter at this time incase I have trans failure...for sure no warranty if there is a converter installed.

I still say the best shoice is going to be the Livernois Stage 3 CNC heads or their Stage 3 Race, for the money it hung right with the TFS heads, outperformed the Darts, and cost less then the TFS, and it has a better valve spring then either set of heads, I know Livernois and Detroit Speed Shops keet the stage 3's on the shelf, cause I was just looking at a set for my Wife's TBSS

I'm kinda partial to the Darts...they are cheaper and unported...so there is alot of room for improvement. With the Livernois heads your maxed out.

Go with a twin screw.
Loads of torque to move your monster.

Well got the tune today and what a world of difference!! No full throttle runs yet but I can feel the lost torque is back due to the LT's. The trans is alot firmer...go back in a couple days to get the CAI kit....my hp addiction is starting. Need to sell my F-body to fund the heads and cam!!!

There are three modifications you absolutely can't overlook in the Trailblazer SS. The first is to replace the stock oiling setup with a Moroso pan and Melling high volume pump and the second is to beef up the transmission. Without these mods the truck will eventually break. The stock engines oiling is only safe to about 5500-6000 rpm and transmission won't last behind the stock LS-2's power and rpm. My son told me at times his maximum oil pressure was 45 lbs. when hot. These are really nice vehicles but lots of weak points were left in them by Chevrolet, mostly because they are a cheap bunch.
