SS LS7 Headers

SS LS7 Headers I am building a 63 Split Window using an LS7 crate motor with a T56. I am considering both the stock exhaust manafold or headers. I would like to find SS headers but since this is a custom installation I am not sure an off the shelf set of headers will work. I am looking for suggestions, anyone with any ideas?

Sorry I can't help you with your header question but I also can't imagine a much sweeter car than a 63 split window with a LS7/T56. That should be a killer combination. Post lots of pics of your build for the rest of us to drool over.

I think your best bet would be to custom make a set of headers. Flanges and tubing are readily avaliable. Or, do some research on aftermarket LS1, LS2, LS6, LS7 headers since they will all fit on an LS7 engine. Look at some pics of them and try to see if they will fit. I bet some modification will be needed.
Sounds like a sweet project. If there's some room, you could simply try out some regular production headers and might get lucky. Maybe post up some pics of what you're working with?

In looking for headers I have looked at stock F body headers but I cannot find any with the D port to fit the LS7. I may need to build a set.
I am still considering using the stock manifolds. But I would like to have the stock exhaust pipe or at lease the first section of it before the cats. If anyone has these I would like to at least try to see if I can make a fit.

Another vote for Kooks. I ordered a set of Kook's headers for my LS7 from Chris at Kooks this morning. He was great help as, well, my project doesn't use off the shelf parts so getting detailed measurements was critical.
