Car Craft L92's on LQ4 article You guys need to pick the latest issue up if you don't have it. Pretty good info. To sum it up over 2 months they got a junk yard LQ4 put a gm hot cam(219/228 .525 112) in it and a 750 carb with headers and got 483hp@6000/450tq@5000 then swaped on some L92's, 850 carb, 228/230 .571/.573 112lsa XR cam and hit 550hp@6800/464tq@5400.
I wish they would have shown gains with just heads then the cam and bigger carb swap but magazines seem to always screw up a test somehow.
The L92's didn't make any more power until 5000 and was down 2-16hp pretty much from 2400-4600 but the cam could have done some of that. But that does explain why mine doesn't really turn it on till 4500.

Car Craft is a sister company with Hot Rod and Chevy Hi performance and they do share builds sometimes. Maybe one of the others will use the platform to due some more testing.
