Is the N-Motion single roller LS2 timing set safe on a 700+ HP engine?

Default Is the N-Motion single roller LS2 timing set safe on a 700+ HP engine?

I was wondering if the N-Motion single roller LS2 timing set was capable and safe running in a 700+ HP engine or should I consider the double roller? I've been told that the double roller will work with some slight modifications. What do you think?

why not just run the roller master dual setup? its ~$90 and will perform flawlessly for what you are wanting to do.

I don't believe Rollmaster makes a timing set for LS2s. I'm building a L92 setup and requires a LS2 set.

the L92 heads don't require an LS2 timing setup. However I do believe an LS2 block does. So, if you are running an LS2 block then you are right an LS1 chain wont work.

I am running the N-Motion double and was amazed how loose it was, even new. Much more than a LS2 chain. Not to bash but I think the LS2 is better and it works with a split front cover where as the double doesn't.

i will be running it on my new set up. i ran it on my old t-rex/ls6 head set up and had no probs.

The set is made by JP Performance and it top notch.
I have a few 800rwhp running around on them with the stock Rolon chain.

I have however done a couple where I switched to the LS2 chain to tighen up the loosness as you described to get a cam tighter in spec.
You can, depending on which block you have opt for the new spring type chain tension .

I'm using the L92 block which requires the LS2 timing set. I just didn't know if I should have my engine builder go through the extra process of making modifications to fit the double roller. I already have the single roller N-Motion LS2 timing set and was just wondering if it would be ok in a 700+ FWHP engine.
