Here's another 416 built by Vengence Racing:

They're within 20 HP of mine and my L92 heads are 100% stock. But if I had it to do over I'd of bought my engine from them.
Update on mine: I removed the CATS and Y pipe. There was an immediate seat of your pants noticeable difference. However it was so loud that I couldn't live with myself (And neighbors) that I put two glass pack mufflers right after the headers. I lost power for sure but the interior noise (resonance tone) is gone now.
Second issue is heat soak. The LS2 AIT sensor is mounted on the bottom side of the MAF, which rests on the upper radiator hose. Resulting in lost timing. I sit in bumper to bumper traffic in 90 degree heat every day. I'm in the process of relocating the sensor and wrapping the intake tube with heat barrier material.
I bought a 75/125 HP ZEX wet nitrous kit but haven't had the time to put it on yet.
I may put the car on the dyno again next month (July 07) when I switch from the Shell Rotella 15-40w oil that Scoggin Dickey recommended for engine break-in. It has the most ZDDP. You can read about this here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....38&postcount=5
I'll be switching to AMSOIL 10-30W full synthetic. I'm curious to see what kind of HP loss was caused by the glass pack mufflers. I'll post my results.

My new motor will be going in next week. The shop that built it just finished and dyno tuned the exact combo going in my car. A 402ci w/ported l92 heads,l76 intake all the boltons and a custom ground cam(the same cam is also going in my car)I will give specs when i get my car back. Anyway, the builder/tuner told me the car pulled to peak hp to 6,600rpm's and he told me it held on pretty good to 7,000rpm's. It may be the cam choice and not the intake at all. When mine is tuned i will post the graph w/all the specs.
