Default 6.0/ L92/ L76 cam question

This is my first gen3 build so bare with me.
Going off the car craft article, 6.0- L92 engine build, will the 12499224 LS6 valve springs hold up to the comp cams 428-11, 228in/230ex@ .050 w/ .571/.573 lift? Some sites are saying they are only good up to .550.
Is there a better cam I should be looking at?
I would like to stick w/ the LS6 springs if possible.
Is there a better valve spring that I can run with the existing locks, keepers and seals, that won't break me?
So does the intake pushrod run at an angle since the rocker arm is off-set?
(valve train angles?) Can't seem to find a good pic.
I will be using the L76 intake also.
Car will be a 69 cam. prob a 4l60e w/ converter and 3.50 gears. Maybe a 6spd if one falls in my lap.

comp cams 918's are the springs you should run at least. from looking at flow #'s i would think you would want to run more split with those heads, but that is just my opinion though. they are too new still to say for sure. i am going to run a 236/248 in my 370 l92 fwiw.

no the pushrod is in the same place its the intake valve that was moved out and that is why the rocker is off set.

Thats what I was thinking, maybe something a little fatter @ .050 on the exh. side. around the .585 mark, 112lbc..I remember those tight lobe center cams being fun to drive, real peaky tq. band, but that was the big block days. Since the post I went ahead and purchased a pair of L92's w/ 918's installed from Matt @ SDPC. An extra 2 bills installed, why not. Any cam suggestions?

I think they used the springs that were already on the L92 heads. If they used LS6 springs it was only for the dyno. No way would I run those springs on a cam over .550 lift on the street. 918s would be the cheapest way out.

I was thinkin about a standard split cam too. These L92s flow better than CNC LS7 heads under 4k rpm...i think. Thats a lot of incoming air, lol. I cant wait to hear what the real cam gurrus have to say. We're talkin about a stock 6.0 bottom end, right? Not a 408?

I dont remember if they got those heads with the better springs already installed on them, or if they came with the LS6 springs.
