Warhawk 6 bolt heads?
Warhawk 6 bolt heads? Does anyone know if World products are the only ones offering 6 bolt heads for the new LSX blocks? When will the 9.7" tall deck block be released from GM??

And believe me, alot of people are chomping at the bit waiting for GM to release these damn blocks.

Quickin: I tried to pm you, box is full. If you don't mind me asking, how much do you have in your new project right now. I'm planning to dive into a 454c.i. single turbo project. I've guesstimated my high side to be $35000...god I hope not but I know it's not going to be cheap. 
correct me if im wrong, but i was pretty sure the 2 extra bolt holes on the World Warhawk heads don't line up with the 2 extra holes on the LSX block, the warhawk heads only line up the 2 extra holes on the warhawk block.

now thats just stupid that the warhawk heads wont fit the LSX block unless you only use 4 head bolts. personally i would think the LSX block outsells the warhawk block by 10 or 20 to 1 so world products should be the one changing designs fast.

To set you straight on the facts:We originated the six-bolt concept and GM sent WJ over to our SEMA booth in 2005to evaluate them. It was an intentional design move on their part to NOT use our bolt pattern due to their water jacketing and bolt-depth, which are superior and unique in our block.
Be advised-no one "changes their designs fast" due to enormous time and cost factors. We don't build these things on our kitchen table.
There are those who will build the GM components and those that will build ours. GM chose to not make them compatable after WJ gave them our entire design brief.
The fact remains that their parts aren't here yet and ours are shipping now.

6 bolt pattern At ET Performance, we offer the 6 bolt warhawk pattern as well as the gm 6 bolt pattern in all of our heads. Whether it be our ls7, l92, cathederal port, canted valve, or C5R style heads

i dont think its a stupid statement, take it as you will but i have yet to see either warhawk blocks or heads at the track this year so not like you are selling a thousand of them a week. why not think it out and get with GM to make it all work together? i understand you got there first but just because of that doesnt make it where you get to have your own way. i just think you could sell more heads in the long run if they would work with GM's 6 bolt design. i could get alot of examples on how first to market doesnt mean crap, such as betamax and vhs and you see who made it. just saying if you worked with what GM already offered you could probally make moe money.

Why hasn't it occured to you that GM didn't and doesn't want to "work with us"?
Instead of giving a sweet deal to WJ to investigate our design, they could have picked up the phone and discussed the design directly with Bill much as Chrysler did with our new hemi and wedge blocks.
GM obviously hopes to sell a ton of their OWN 6 hole heads - why should they make it easy for guys to buy ours?
The significant point is: guys that want the iron block and it's lower price are just not interested in our block. The World customers have a different agenda and accept that a lower production, specialty piece will be more costly. Few who buy our block will put GM heads on it.
As far as heads, availability and design quality will determine usage.
