Default LS2 cam question

The cam in my LS2 is toast.. long story, but I need to replace it, in a HURRY.

The grind in there now is a custom one by COMP the specs are:

230/232 .591/.595 114+2

The problem is that, since it's a custom grind, I can't get it until next Monday. We need to get this car done asap for a shoot and test.

Comp now has this cam in stock and I can get it by Wednesday.

232/234 .595/.598 112

How do you think this cam will compare to the one I'm taking out? the lower LSA should make it more lumpy, but do you think it will loose much bottom and mid-range power?

It's pretty close in spec. Thoughts...

My new slogan: The first 98% of building a car is easy, the last 2% will make you cry. lol

I doubt you'll notice much difference.

If the advance is the same as your 114LSA cam, you will have more low and mid-range torque due to the higher dynamic compression.

Are you at stock LS2 cubes?
I had that same exact cam in a 346 and loved it.

Well, my custom cam was a 114+2. This one is a 112 with no timing ground in.
